Ivey ray
My name is Ivey Ray and I'm a professional makeup artist, moving and grooving in NYC and celebrating 15 years of industry experience in 2025!
Originally from Long Island, I grew up endlessly painting my face in front of the mirror, practicing how to blend and style for every era. After relocating to NYC, I worked on location as an Associate Producer for television shows such as, "Four Weddings" and "Stalked: Someone's Watching".
I went on to study at Make-Up Designory(MUD), and began to take work on Commercials, TV & Film, Digital, Branded Content, and Corporate Events.
Today, I am lucky enough to have a thriving business working with a wonderful variety of clients.

I highly recommend Ivey. She did my wedding makeup for an outdoor wedding in NY in July and made it so I never looked sweaty or greasy which I thought was impossible. I suggest following her directions to have photos of ideas and inspiration and go through the trial process with her so you know what to expect.
